The modeling, analysis and assessment of existing bridges, also doing traffic analysis to determine required loading. A lot of work was done with Microsoft Excel and S-Frame. Work with hydrology, topography and geotechnical assessment. The hydrology included managing piezometer measurements, draw down effects, aquifer analysis and ground water flow patterns. Topography was general CAD analysis of landscapes to asses locations of wells and instruments. For the geotechnics, soil type analysis with respect to aquifers and ground water patterns was the main focus. General office duties were sometimes performed as well.
