      As a member of the senior management team at Develop Nova Scotia, led team members (internally & externally) in in operational excellence, business development, and a robust expansion of marine services for the Halifax Waterfront, the most visited destination in Nova Scotia by land and sea. This role extended to Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, working to rejuvenate the Lunenburg Working Waterfront, creating a vibrant place at the water’s edge that blends traditional marine industry with experiential tourism. Most recently developed and led a provincial Working Waterfront Strategy and Marine Visitation Plan (MVP) to attract and grow luxury yacht visitation to Nova Scotia for leisure and ship repair/maintenance visits, an under-developed market for Atlantic Canada. Multiple projects identified in the MVP were completed under the Province of Nova Scotia’s COVID19 Stimulus Plan including the revitalization of the Baddeck Wharf on the Bras d’Or Lakes (Canada’s inland sea), accessible infrastructure in Mahone Bay and the ongoing growth of both the Halifax and Lunenburg waterfronts, constructing a foundation for an emerging marine destination network for Atlantic and Eastern Canada.
