  Artex Fine Art Services is a national fine art storage facility with warehouses in Boston, Washington D.C., and the New York metropolitan area, serving the major art museums, galleries and art collectors. Responsibilities included: - Supervising warehouse staff with all daily tasks involving safe storage and transportation of artwork, including packing, unpacking and operation of forklift to move a variety of materials and objects n Installation work with clients, both on and off-site; management of client personal storage space n Basic carpentry and building of crates, specialized wall mounts and pedestals. - Producing condition reports and documentation of shipments. *The Hood Museum, Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH - For six months, while working for Artex, I was part of a team that worked closely with the Hood Museum Senior Registrar to inventory, condition check and pack and move the museum collection off site. This work was done in preparation for a major renovation of the Hood Museum.
