      Short Breaks Network (formerly Shared Care Network) is a national organisation that promotes good practice around short breaks for disabled children and young people. It represents UK wide short break services to support disabled children and their families. Short Breaks Network's mission is to increase the quality, diversity and availability of short breaks for disabled children and young people by;supporting all those working in the short breaks sector;providing information, training, consultancy and resources;researching and sharing good practice UK-wide;working with government to influence policy and practice;working in partnership with other organisations;raising awareness of the benefits of short breaks; andraising awareness of the need for more short break carers.I worked with the Training & Events Manager to deliver a packed schedule ofTraining, Events and Conferences around the country.
