  Working as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Mikron Automation, multiple tasks and responsibilities were assigned over the summer. Working alongside multiple ME Project leads and managers, aiding in the design and fabrication of 3-D machinery/sheet metal parts to solve automation problems to create pharmasutical devices. Using Inventor, creating 2-D drawings according to company standards and GD&T in order to communicate with suppliers and vendors to receive parts.   The primary goals achieved were an understanding of the construction process and assisting Field Engineers and Office Engineers in field and materials management. Throughout the internship, interns were able to master programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, and Civil-3D, as well as become familiar with Virtual Design Constuction and Building & Information Modeling. The internship program provided interns with experience in hard work, determination, and success.
