  Conceptualize, design and build ASME Section VIII division 1 and division 2 code Pressure Vessels to meet the needs of customers in compressed air, food preparation, bulk handling, oxygen service, lethal storage, air drying, air/oil separating industries. Also, cross analyze ASME code against D.O.T. UN portable container requirements. Design new products and make improvements to existing products. Evaluate designs, parts, or processes for cost efficiency and reliability and ensure project completion. Evaluate design ideas, based on factors such as appearance, safety, function, serviceability, budget, production costs/methods, and market characteristics. Prepare sketches and models of ideas and prototypes. Create detailed drawings using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Teksoft CAD CAM, or occasionally by hand. Otherwise use all resources necessary to complete the job. Integrally work with all members of the engineering staff, sales, purchasing, customer service, Quality Control, Pre-fab personnel, and shop floor fabricators to ensure that production is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Work directly with customers and end-users to ensure the product meets the needs at hand.
