During the summer months I act as a project manager at large festivals to ensure the build-show-break go smoothly & deal with the problems when they arise quickly and effectively. My recent achievements over the past year is bringing in 4 of our largest event customers out of 10 and retaining them going into next season.

As part of my University degree at Bournemouth, I decided to embark on a placement within the financial services industry. My role involves;• Administrative support to my financial advisor director which enabled me to learn about all aspects of wealth management. Furthermore I am now proficient within bespoke wealth management platforms in addition to Microsoft Office packages. • I am primarily responsible for managing clients through; building relationships with high wealth individuals, processing fund switches, processing top ups, withdrawal applications, client investment portfolio analysis and learning from my peers through client financial advisory meetings.• Whilst being fairly new to the industry I was able to use the director experience to bring fresh ideas to the company, for example, restricting clients reviews.• Whilst at Prescient I have continued my learning within my own time to pass my CF1 and I am currently studying for my CF2 from the CII exam board.

June 2010 - Sept 2011 & Summer 2012 Site Equip Ltd, Lasham, Hampshire Driver/supervisor- Delivering and Collecting Event Facilities.• Due to time constraints on deliveries, my organisational abilities and time management skills were essential when faced with problematic deliveries. • Becoming the main point of contact between the customer and the operations and sales office, I was able to negotiate any difficulties and react quickly. Particularly valuable when I was coordinating large events and informing colleagues, management and event organisers of the constantly changing circumstances i.e. changes in the weather. This expanded my ability to take responsibility, formulate my own decisions and to be self -motivated when working individually or part of a team.• My good customer communication was demanded at a large event for The Olympic Torch relay, when 150 units were cleaned, relocated from Guilfest Music Festival for the Olympic Torch relay then cleaned and relocated again within 24 hours and sent to the Ministry of Defence for troops stationed at the London Olympics. This was all organized by myself with tight deadlines, liaison with customers, staff, and transport companies ensuring all events were delivered on time and budget to everyone’s satisfaction. • In my second summer I was promoted to solely look after a lucrative client, which meant I had to use my initiative to route efficient deliveries within in the tight time scales to difficult locations using map coordinates.
