Field paleontology intern on the FLMNH's NSF-PIRE grant funded excavations of the Panama Canal. Extensive field work prospecting for and excavating early Miocene (20 ma) vertebrate (ungulates, reptilians), invertebrate, and plant fossil remains. Lab work includes preparing and conserving fossils, cataloging and photographing specimens. Volunteer project at the BioMuseo in Panama City developing walkthrough of geologic exhibit for docents to present to visitors.
