Techie Club is an NFT project and community. An NFT, or non-fungible token, is a special kind of digital item that is unique and cannot be replaced. They are often used to represent things like art, collectibles, or even virtual real estate. NFTs are a big part of the web3 ecosystem, which is the third generation of the internet. Web3 is about using new technology to connect people and machines in better ways and to give people more control over their online experiences. Web3 uses things like blockchain, which is a kind of digital ledger that helps keep track of who owns what. Working on an NFT project means that I was helping to build and maintain a community of people interested in using NFTs and web3 technology. As a member of the Techie Club team, I was responsible for building and maintaining an inclusive community for current and aspiring web2 and web3 job seekers. I managed the Techie Club Twitter account, which grew to have over 55K followers through my efforts to engage with followers and host Twitter spaces. Additionally, I researched potential collaboration opportunities with other projects and moderated our discord channel to answer questions from members of the community. I also compiled a job board for holders and helped promote our Genesis and Techieverse collections of NFTs, which both sold out quickly.
