We had some issues with a managed building and poorly configured Cisco routers, which we didn't have access to. Working with Adam we replicated the timeout issues and was able to configure an Asterisk system to work around the router configuration issues. Adam's knowledge in his field is impressive, it gives me a warm feeling to have Adam and his team behind us.

I had the pleasure of working with Adam on a Barclaycard sponsored program to produce the latest PCI guideline for telephone transactions. I thought I had a pretty good handle on the subject until Adam educated me on how some carriers are not as secure as I expected. His depth of knowledge of the VoIP/SIP carrier world was very impressive. Not only did Adam share this knowledge he put in countless hours drafting tough technical reads to ensure absolute clarity and no ambiguity. I would welcome the opportunity of working again with Adam.

Adam Crisp, possibly the best Cisco engineer I have ever meet and worked with. If Adam does not know the answer to a VoIP issue the answer is not worth knowing.

Product review and trajectory modelling: Modelled the customer journey in order to make space for an indirect sales channel and an indirect service delivery model. This fundamentally changed the inhouse human resource requirements, swapping for a financial commitment. Investment documentation: Built a comprehensive 4 year budget for best case, worse case and expected case financials. Built a set of presentations allowing Moore Technology to progress with MnA funding. Product documentation review and campaign design: Identified missing documentation from the product documentation set and demonstrated why the material was valuable and necessary. This was done by mapping the documentation to the customer onboarding journey. Worked with the external digital agency to design a 6 month outreach program for social networks. Agile methodology: Explained and demonstrated how simple agile-based meetings can enable team members to understand what ‘looks good’ in their work output and how poor interactions can delay project timelines. Product Management: Reviewing the customer lifecycle with the CEO, meaning the journey from initial contact, sales, service delivery and ultimacy churn prevention, demonstrated the need for a fulltime multi-service, group product manager. At the same time ensured that obvious pain points were addressed. New vendor selection, Sales lead and external marketing: Introduced new vendors into Comtec’s portfolio, introduced a new sales lead and build a strong relationship with an external marketing agency. This included internal sales training and ensuring the agency was engaged correctly with relevant Comtec personnel. Show less

Our mission is to help businesses and people contribute towards a sustainable future through implementing best tech that's ready for use. We want to do lots of things and have lots of ideas. Right now we're helping businesses with measuring and offsetting their CO2 as part of their energy supply agreements. With lots of trimmings round the edge. I’m still massively interested in comms projects - Private 5G is interesting and I’m particularly interested in the experience users have when using cloud solutions so hope to pick this up again at some point. • DCN (Data Comms Network) Network manager / engineer
      • May 2001 - Dec 2002

Ventelo at that time was a pan-euro voice telco. Ventelo along with it's IP Internet sister EBONE spawned from the ashes of GTS. Attempted to look after the DCN, which in a telco at that time, meant the IP/X.25/OSI-CLNS network used to shift billing traffic around for mediation systems to use - out of band network management etc. Ventelo changed forever following corporate financing challenges post the 9/11 tragedy. I met some very influential people during my time at Ventelo and for that I am truly grateful. Show less

Cable and Wireless has a large fibre infrastructure, transmission build programme called Network 2000 around - yes the year 2000. A member of the DCN team and based in the drawing office, I helped build the data network for the network management of optical multiplexors, such as Nortel SDH kit + Cienna DWDM. My big introduction to Cisco as a Network vendor and the journey to my CCIE certification. A very big thank you to Jon Dry (Glotel recruitment (now at Analytica) for sponsoring my application and of course Peter Morley for being the fool that gave me the job. Had a wonderful couple of years and I had a memorable trip to California with Raminda Bhurji (and our respective families) for Juniper training and San Francisco sightseeing ! Show less

Way back when machine tells me I was the IT guy that came in to help Simoco / Mobicom's Derby office. This was about the time MS Exchange 5 was all the rage and people still bought desktop PCs from Compaq. Had a lot of fun - great memories and I think some people from the late nineties might still work at Simoco - (Private mobile radio). Good for you.
