Dylan Bowater
Adam was very passionate during his voluntary work with AIESEC in Nottingham; he became a cornerstone of our team's culture and contributed to the belief in our exchange services through the regular sharing of his volunteering experience in Morocco. He can apply his creativity and strong public speaking skills to an operational setting, creating team meetings and operational training simulations that were highly engaging and realistic. I strongly recommend inviting Adam to your next venture due to his enthusiasm and talent.

I led a multicultural team of 7 volunteers to deliver safe international internships and volunteering experiences to young people. Through researching and making global partnerships with other AIESEC entities, we organised several safe exchanges this year.My role involved:- Training my team members to pitch our exchanges to interested customers.- Developing strategies to increase our conversion rates.- Ensuring that the standards of exchange are delivered to our exchange participants.- Overseeing the operations of my team - Reporting to the Executive Board of AIESEC in Nottingham.AIESEC is the world’s largest youth-run organisation, operating cross-cultural exchanges in 120 countries since 1948. Tourism Journalist
-
Aug 2019 - Sep 2019
I lived and worked as a Tourism Journalist in Rabat, Morocco for six weeks. I was responsible for investigating and creating social media and online content targeted towards English-speaking tourists. Market research and public relations were heavily involved. My team was multicultural, with members from Turkey, Tunisia, Egypt, China and the Philippines. We learned how to bring the best parts of our own work cultures to this project and learned how to navigate difficulties caused by cultural difference. Our work environment was mobile and thus our working hours were inconsistent. This experience developed my resilience and I learned how to overcome culture shock. Show less
