I am currently assigned to a drug task force, consisting of members from various departments and organizations. Prior to working in narcotics, I was assigned to the patrol division of the Marion Police Department (2010-2017). While working on patrol, I was also a part-time member of our bike patrol unit, specializing in mobile patrol. Beginning in 2012, I began investigating serious/fatal crashes as a member of a county wide accident investigation/reconstruction team. I have completed several courses at Northwestern University's Center of Public Safety in Evanston, Illinois, as well as reconstruction courses at various other locations. In 2014, I reached the level of accident reconstructionist. In 2016, the Marion Police Department began to process domestic assault incidents or arrests using the Maryland's Lethality Assessment Protocol (LAP). I assisted in the successful implementation and documentation of this program. In April of 2017, I joined the Special Response Team. As a member of this team, I take part in the execution of high risk search/arrest warrants.
