During my time with Argos, Home Retail Group, my main responsibilities included reporting to upper management the daily and weekly cash positions of all currency accounts as well as providing actuals for the budget setting and forecasting process. This provided me with invaluable industry experience, but due to the lack of rounded accountancy experience I felt a training contract within practice would be provide a better basis for a career in finance.
