I continuously assessed the effectiveness of existing policies and procedures and introduced Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, Training and Development, and Hiring and Recruiting changes that benefitted employees and the company at large. From hiring and training managers to having overseen the development of restaurant staff, I build high-achieving teams with limited turnover rates, which meant better and consistent quality of service was delivered on a regular basis. In reviewing business/consumer patterns and I developed scheduling templates that reduced labor costs without sacrificing standards set by the company. To further the abilities of all employees, I conducted performance evaluations and provided constructive feedback on how each person could make a greater impact. Additionally, I administered training to management related to newly introduced HR systems such as PeopleSoft. I also verified that all documentation was compliant with company and regulatory guidelines. I oversaw, provided solutions to employee conflicts/disputes, coordinated with HR Management during new system rollouts, and gained knowledge of EEOC claims, OSHA, and wage laws, and trained managers on the practical application of laws. • Was recognized as "Rookie of the Year" for outstanding leadership and goal attainment.
