Responsible for Project Management of NCT projects as assigned by the Project Supervisor and site sampling and testing.- Compliance with the Employee Handbook, H&S Manual and Operations Manual and ensuring that sub-ordinates comply.- Supervise site visits over the UK for projects in concrete panel testing (Half-Cell Tests, Cover Meter Readings, Visual Defects, Delamination).- Management of technician(s) working on a day to day basis, including time keeping production, discipline, attitude, quality and health and safety.- Ensuring that only specified Test and Sampling Procedures are available on site and are usedand that all test records are complete and checked before handing them to the reporting team.- Production and recording of clients’ changes/instructions by use of CVI.- Training employees in addition to recording competence.- Assisting the Projects Supervisor with their role as and when required including equipment register, vehicle maintenance etc.- Managing the Health and Safety aspects of NCT work including the production of Health and Safety Plans, ensuring COSHH and Risk Assessments are undertaken and reviewed, ensuring the training is undertaken, it’s effectiveness checked and appropriate records made.- Deputising for the Project Supervisor in their absence.

• Utilise the TRADA span tables along with relevant Eurocodes and British Standards to structurally assess a domestic property’s suitability for the installation of Solar PV panels, utilising the structural measurements and photographs taken by in house Home Performance Advisors. Produce a report or certificate justifying the conclusions. • Undertake an onsite building survey to establish if a property is suitable for the installation of SPV panels and produce a detailed report to justify your conclusions, backed up with robust calculations. • Design structural improvements that can be made to a roof structure in order to make it suitable for the installation of SPV panels. • Work with the Solar PV design team in order to ensure SLAs are met and suggest ways solar arrays can be modified to make them suitable to install on potentially suitable properties. • Carry out reviews with Design Team Manager/Senior Designer to assess procedures and pass rates.
