Director of Community Engagement / Year Level Coordinator (Years 10-12)
-
2016 - 2022
Having established a strong track record with the school in my first year, I was appointed to two senior leadership roles at Camberwell Girls Grammar. I was appointed as the Director of Community Engagement and as a Year Level Coordinator. During my time as Director of Community Engagement, I successfully developed and implemented an effective community engagement program focused on relationship-building with parents and students, as well as with local feeder schools and Swinburne University. I also fulfilled the role of a Year Level Coordinator and successfully led three Year Groups through to Year 12 with an emphasis on the development of strong relationships with both the students and their parents. In particular, I gained a reputation for being the Year Group's "Greatest Advocate" and was able to facilitate a positive environment within the Year Group enabling the students to be the "best that they can be". I also worked collaboratively with colleagues to secure a significant improvement in enrolment numbers at the school. In 2018, I was asked by the Principal of Camberwell Girls Grammar to oversee Enrolments at the school with the Admissions Manager reporting directly to me. Since that time, the School's enrolments have grown significantly with waiting lists now in place at most year levels. Whilst fulfilling all of these roles, I also continued on as a passionate classroom teacher of Mathematics with a focus on Units 3/4 Further Maths and Unit 1/2 Mathematical Methods and General Maths. I have taught Unit 3/4 Further Maths since 2017. During this time, my classes have regularly achieved excellent results with many of the class obtaining study scores of 40 or more. Lastly, during this time I also coached the School's Senior AFL team and the team was undefeated from 2016-2019.
