This is how i modified your project: Executive Summary of Research Proposal TITLE: EVALUATION OF NEW FUNDAMENTAL GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM (GIS) MAPPING TECHNIQUE IN TNB 132/275 KV LINES FOR FAULT MONITORING IMPROVEMENT This project focuses on targeting the fault monitoring on the relays connected to far-end of 132/275 kV transmission lines at TNB. Currently, there is some difficulty to trace the fault status, imminent faults and relay response to the immediate fault. As a result, the fault cannot be remotely verified and the relay cannot show any disturbances although there are imminent faults which may occur any time soon. The relays are connected at the far-end of the transmission line to operate the transmission properly and to clear any expected fault. When fault occurs on the far-end of the transmission lines, the current relay systems do not show that whether the fault taken place is imminent or not. Therefore it is necessary to look into a good solution technique to overcome this problem. This project will utilize GIS technique which uses spatial mapping technique to the relay fault monitoring problems. Detailed proposal of research project:
