  The Purpose of this Committee is the recruitment of BLAST Scholars to represent the program in various forms including (but not limited to) events, conferences, and interviews. The Committee is to reach out to the BLAST Scholar community via email, personal contact, or social networking for the recruitment of students that will respond to a call for representation. This includes requests form secondary and middle schools to meet with students and have tours of campus; arranging lists of BLAST volunteers for overnight hosting (events such as Jumbo Days or Voices Program); identifying those interested in making phone calls to prospective students, etc.
