Our team built and maintained data pipelines between our game products and CRM software, supported new strategic initiatives, and developed webapps and dashboards to improve efficiency across the global Customer Service organization at AppLovin. My primary focus in this role was working with senior leadership to understand short and long-term departmental goals, and translating those user stories into projects and products designed to meet those goals. In addition, the Customer Operations team consisted of a single developer when I joined, and through my tenure I worked to make our tools and data pipelines more efficient, scalable, and reliable. This included implementing a sprint process, regular code reviews, source control, and overseeing the porting of our most critical tools from PHP to React. I also personally migrated our tech stack from a single Linux and MySQL server to a cloud-based implementation through OpenShift. Beyond my role as a supervisor, I often collaborated with other analytics teams on an ad-hoc basis when they needed assistance, particularly during incidents or product outages. Additionally, I developed Tableau dashboards, ran point on certain critical analyses, and built Python scripts to manage CS specific data pipelines. I designed and delivered a monthly report to upper management, including the CEO, that provided an overview of the engagement, sentiment, and revenue generated by our most valuable players. Show less

Recurring tasks included delivering regular reports on CS agent performance at an individual, team, and organizational level as well as working with leadership to help plan, implement, and measure the success of a variety of their initiatives. I took ownership of the department's quarterly shift bidding process by using Google forms and a custom Python script to automate what had previously been a labor intensive manual process for management. I also designed and implemented a complete overhaul of our Zendesk workflow, eventually becoming the primary Administrator for our Zendesk instance.
