I am currently working with the Medical Affairs team at ViiV Healthcare Australia under the GSK/ViiV Graduate Researcher Program. This is a government-funded program supported by MTP Connect for PhD graduates and post-docs to help bridge the gap between research and industry. My expected role is to support the Medical Affairs team in the delivery (clinical data presentations) of internal training, external healthcare provider (Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacists) education, regulatory affairs support, medicine reimbursement support and advisory boards. Most importantly would be my involvement in the launch planning for the novel 2 monthly injectable regimen. This regimen will free people living with HIV (PWHIV) from the burden of daily oral therapy, reducing the frequency of medicine administration from 365 doses a year to just 6. Show less
