  As an ICP-MS application scientist, I was instrumental in the global launch of the first commercial reaction/collision cell based ICP-MS. This technology has since become the norm for every ICP-MS on the market. I have also patented the concept of a triple quadrupole ICP-MS which is now seen as must have for all ICP-MS suppliers. During this period I collaborated with scientists from major pharmaceutical companies to publish on the role of ICP-MS in understanding drug metabolism (11 publications in peer reviewed journals and 2 book chapters).
