Abinash Sir has this knack of teaching in the most different manner, which I got to experience during the course Organization Design and Change that was and still is my favourite subject. He made the subject very objective with his clarity of thought so much so, that we were writing a 100 word answer to a case based question. He would make you work harder with his questions during case discussions and he loved grilling our views and providing diversified views challenging the norms. A very simple viewpoint which he made me to believe in was that the promotion should never be based on the experience you have had at the current role but on competence for the next role. Something that the current organisations lack till date. I still reach out to him to discuss any team related issues that I face three year after graduating and I only hope I can continue to learn from him in the comings days as well.

As I embarked upon my journey in a startup post my bschool years, I can see all carefully chosen case studies by Abinash sir, play out in front of real life. As I move more into management, it’s less about my individual performance and more about my team and organization’s performance. That’s where the teachings of Abinash sir comes in Handy. I still remember having a diagonal opposite view on case discussion with Abinash sir. However his ability to drive students step by step to the right conclusion by probing is amazing.
