Tanis Butto

Abi's name may only consist of three letter but behind her title is a list that expands far beyond just that. She tends to keep to herself for the most part. However, I can hear all that I need to know about her through her art. The emotions that descend across her pieces break the barriers that contain them. Abi seems to convince others into thinking that her process of working comes quickly to her, but I know that her skills came from a great struggle. Whatever life threw at her was merely another tool for her to create.

Experience

    • Art Restoration Assistant Manager
      • Jan 2022 - Present

Write invoices for services for art restoration insurance claims. Developed treatment plans for restoring art including cleaning, replacements, and third parties to direct staff. Organize field and in house operations to maximize team productivity. Updated storage procedures to maximize space efficiency without damaging art. Trusted with art work for clients with high end art. I have handled art work by Pablo Picasso, Sheppard Ferry, and more. Collaborated with conservators to treat art that has loss related damage that exceeds surface cleanings and replacements. Show less

Formulated plans for breaks and deployment for the shifts I ran by collaborating with and considering the strengths of available staff. Counted store’s safe and drawers, handled change orders, and parred tills. Trained new baristas on their new job’s tasks and continued to assist new employees after the training period Balanced supervisor duties while continuing to assist customers at the point of sale and hand craft beverages.
