      - Working predominantly in Oils, focusing around the subject of portraiture. - I explore the portrait in its traditional sense through theoretical writings, allowing it to inform my practice as I explore further. - I have previously explored the idea of memory and my own visual representations and interpretations of it. - Currently, I am beginning to explore light and how it can be shown within the medium of painting, how it can change and transform an image.

As part of a two-person team, I worked towards the maintaining Hanover Project as a Contemporary Art Gallery. Assisting with installations of several art exhibitions, liaising with practicing artists, students, and tutors alike, and control of Hanover Project's social media profiles. Advertising and promoting the gallery and each show that was exhibited. Each show's promotional material is available to view via the link: https://hanoverproject.wordpress.com This role also included the full autonomy over a fine art exhibition, utilising each skill and experience learned throughout the role. 'Connections', an online exhibition involved numerous artists who showcased their own interpretation of the title and their experiences of this as practicing artists through the Covid-19 pandemic. An open artist talk was given at the end of this show and allowed for open and honest dialogue between like-minded individuals. Show less
