I worked as an English language teacher to University students at Sichuan Agricultural University. Alongside lesson planning and execution I also offered tutoring services to those students who wanted a little extra help with any aspect of English, be it writing, reading, speaking or listening. I always aimed to help those who asked for it. Often the students I tutored were studying for their ILETS exams so that they can study abroad, but I also tutored students who just wanted to improve their English. I was always thinking of fun new ways to teach rather than lecturing at the front of the class. It was also part of my job to set the exams for the students at the end of the semester. On occasion I came across students who faced many difficulties with their spoken English, in these cases I would always take the time to sit down with them and help them understand the task at hand in whatever ways I could. I was on a temporary contract with McCann before heading off to China to teach English. While at McCann I was largely involved in the planning and organising of the companies annual Summer Event, held over 2 days. Along side this, I was also involved in the maintenance of office essentials, ensuring the upkeep of several offices. My role also required me to handle any specific needs my colleagues may have, working closely with them to help them where ever needs be. Events and Media Coordinator

I was on the Bangor University Dance Club committee for two years. My first role as media coordinator required me to design adverstiment materials for the club's shows and events.
