The East Orange VA gives a variety of hearing health related care to veterans. Audiometry, tymps, ARTs, tinnitus evaluations, and more are done on a daily basis. The VA has a relationship with multiple hearing aid manufacturers and therefore has the ability to fit the veterans with the best hearing devices and accessories for their needs. The Lake Drive Program was established in 1969. Today, the school serves approximately 250 students, ages birth to high school graduation, from nearly 100 communities, including Newark, Paterson, Jersey City, New Brunswick, Plainfield and Trenton, in 12 NJ counties. We service a variety of devices including hearing aids, BAHAs, and CIs. We also have a sound booth for a full range of diagnostic tests. The Lake Drive Program was established in 1969.
