Abigail is an inspiring entrepreneur, and I worked for her as Business Development Lead at the early stages of the development of ImmuONE. Abigail is forward-thinking, confident, proactive and a prime example of a scientist becoming a successful business person. She is one of the persons behind my success, and her mentorship has been invaluable. I am inspired by her determination and drive to succeed.

Research assistant under the supervision of Professor Keith Betteridge, Dept. of Biomedical Sciences, University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada. The research was conducted with an interest in: Signalling by embryonic steroid hormones, establishment and loss of early pregnancy in the mare. Work outside of the lab required a “hands on” approach and previous experience in equine handling was valuable. I preformed ultrasonographic examinations, intramuscular injections, seminal fluid collection from a stallion, artificial insemination, jugular blood draw and conceptus recovery. Within the lab environment I devised a storage system for biopsies, carried out dissections and somite quantifications, microarray preparation of endometrial biopsies and liaised between collaborating labs.
