    • President
      • Oct 2022 - Mar 2023

I was privileged enough to be the President of CLAW for the 2022/23 academic year. We achieved a lot this year: organising lots of events, set up a mentorship scheme with Leigh Day and much more. This society has been a privilege to captain and I cannot wait to see where it goes next year.

I successfully applied to the CPS West Midlands work experience online scheme. Not only did it allow me to experience a small snapshot of what it is like to work on cases, but it showed me a different perspective of the Criminal Justice System I successfully applied to the CPS West Midlands work experience online scheme. • Shadowed a Barrister
      • Jul 2019 - Jul 2019

I shadowed Catrin Evans KC at her Matrix Chambers in London. This gave me a new insight into the world of law from a barristers perspective, and while with her I sat in on a hearing at the Royal Courts of Justice, discussed judgments and read court proceedings. • Lessons From Auschwitz Project
      • Mar 2019 - Mar 2019

I was lucky enough to take part in the programme. I was able to listen to a survivor’s testimony first, and then travel to Poland to visit the camp. My outlook on life changed after this experience, and it is something I do not take for granted. A moment that stuck with me was hearing a Rabbi lead a small remembrance service at the end of the train line in Auschwitz Birkenau, with candles and much private reflection.
