BOC India Ltd. has different kind of gases in their product line. This project report gives forecast about the demand of the fabrication gases in India for coming 10 years. The forecast is done both ways, aggregate i.e demand as a whole and sectoral i.e demand for important sectors. The forecast is done by considering different factors like GDP growth rate, IIP of manufacturing, Steel consumption etc. The project is based on quantitative type of demand forecasting models. Among the models, regression equation and end user method is used. Both these model with the help of welding calculator provides demand estimation for fabrication gases in India.
