Along with course work, archaeology student at Leiden University must gain practical experiences on heritage management by providing themselves an internship. I chose RCE as it is a Dutch government where I expected to receive exceptional experiences. Here, I conducted a small research with intention to extend it to my final thesis. With good support from RCE, I did finish a paper called 'Culture assimilation: integration of traditional ways and law as a potential way of heritage protection' that also being presented at European Association of Archaeologists (EAA) the 18th annual meeting (2012). Moreover, RCE enabled me to attend a seminar (2012) of European Archaeology Council (EAC) to experience European heritage management in policy-making level.
