Master Thesis Project
-
Dec 2019 - May 2020
I did my Master Thesis Project at Kyoto University, Japan. The aim of my Project was to develop an experimental apparatus for Optical Tweezers array of cold Ytterbium atoms in order to realise quantum computation and quantum simulations. I specifically worked on:- 1) Development of 507 nm frequency stabilized laser system. 2) Development of optical tweezers array as well as fast feedback system for deterministic loading of single atom. 3) Installation of new windows into the Science Chamber. The project was aimed at measuring coherence time of collinear Bi-photon generated through type-II parametric down conversion. By Pre-selection of proper time window of Co-incidence counter , we can create path entanglement between generated photon pairs in Franson interferometer. The Project aimed at estimating the coherence time of generated photon pairs by varying the phase at one of the path (short or long) in Franson interferometer and than measuring Co-incidence width. Afterwards, it aimed at realization of non-local interference and than verification of CHSH inequality. The next step of project is to replace one of arms of Franson Interferometer with EIT based Quantum Memory Show less

I lead a project on “Non-Classicality of Coherent State through joint statistics” at Australian National University. I have been selected for “Chennupati and Vidya Jagadish Endowment Fund” for carrying out summer research project at Department of Quantum Science, Australian National University under Professor Dr. Ping Koy Lam. This project was aimed at experimentally verifying the approach towards defining non-classicality by using entanglement of joint statistics. Former Summer Intern
-
Jun 2017 - Jul 2017
I took a summer research internship on “Introduction to Quantum Optics and basic study of three level atom with two field radiation modes” at Central University of Hyderabad. During this period, I covered the basic aspects of Quantum Optics and further did numerical analysis of steady state of the different level populations and real and imaginary parts of atomic coherences for different combinations of the control and probe Rabi field strengths.
