As a second person in the branch I was involved in streaming lining the operation and also getting new business for the branch . I was able garner deposit to the extent of Rs. 25 Crs in the 1st year of operation . The Bank authorities being pleased with growth of branch , approved the branch for sanctioning of SME loans . I was given the additional charge of processing Loan proposals. The branch was able to breakeven within 17th months of operations and at the end of year 2nd year of operations was a Profit making branch. Got special appreciation letter from the Managing Director of bank as a part of quickest profit making branch in eastern India .
