Responsibilities:-Setting up the site and developing the project logistic plan.- Developing the project program along with the Project Manager and the Planning Engineer. - Managing the procurement of subcontractors and materials for all trades in coordination with the procurement department and the Project Manager. - Following up with the Engineering Department to ensure shop drawings are produced on time. - Reviewing shop drawings for correctness, raising technical queries to the Engineering Manager, and propose alternate solutions when possible. - Preparing method statements and risk assessments of the construction activities. - Ensure all works are done safely and in conformance with the project safety plan. - Identifying variations, change orders, and delay events and raising them in timely manner to the Commercial Department. - Raising in timely manner work and material inspection requests in accordance with the Project Quality Plan. - Coordinating with the Client to obtain necessary work permits and passes. - Coordinating with the Consultant to obtain approval for engineering submittals and inspection requests. - Planning ahead all construction activities to make sure all the resources from manpower to tools, materials, and permits are available on time. - Supervising construction activities to make sure the target is met within the time, cost and quality specified. - Managing the site team and supporting them with the required documents.- Managing of and coordinating with sub-contractors and suppliers of all relative trades to solve any problems technical and commercial.
