Kindergarten Principal

Aug 2012 - Jul 2017
As the kindergarten principal, I managed the accreditation and implementation process of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), ensuring all matters are in line with the IB PYP standards and practices. As a member of the PYP Steering Committee, I custom designed and executed the continuous IB PYP professional development program for PYP staff. This included an intense two-week induction program, weekly workshops, lesson observations, and registration of staff to take part in official IB workshops.I supervised a team of 60 staff members and 320 students. Day-to-day matters included curriculum development, school management, staffing, admissions, budgeting, strategic planning, planning co-curricular events and field trips, lesson observations, etc.,. My role as the kindergarten principal also entailed that I devise and deliver parent orientations and interactive workshops alongside the PYP coordinator.
