Abdur worked as a Product Management Intern at GMAT Club between October 2021 and May 2022. Abdur conducted user research to identify the biggest opportunities to improve new user experience on GMAT Club. Over six months, he worked with a UI expert to put together his vision and then a developer to build the product. In the end, he launched a single location for new members to make onboarding a more organized and streamlined process. The product that Abdur created is used 10,000 times each month. During his internship, Abdur demonstrated persistence, effective work in diverse teams, and the ability to maintain focus in complex deployments. Thanks for your help Abdur and Good luck with your MBA!

Abdur worked with us on some of the pressing issues of the GMAT Club. The way Abdur identified the problem by speaking to our users, came up with a solution to fix it and executed the solution by working along with the technical development team is truly commendable. Abdur identified that most of the new GMAT Club users were lost in a sea of information and then came up with a solution to fix it. He proposed that GMAT Club should have a landing page for new users where they can get all the guidance they need. He came up with the idea of gmatclub.com/start and worked with our designer to make it user-friendly and intuitive. Hence the onboarding of new users onto GMAT Club became very easy thus allowing GMAT Club to focus on other important tasks. One of the important transitions happening at GMAT Club was the transition of users from forums to chat rooms. Abdur worked on setting the vision for our chat rooms by coming up with features that would make this transition easier. He proposed and executed instant chat messaging that would be available across GMAT Club making our chat rooms more visible and thus increasing the user engagement on GMAT Club. Abdur also hosted many sessions for GMAT Club during MBA Spotlight. He helped the admissions directors of several business schools in reaching out to prospective applicants through GMAT Club. Overall, I would recommend Abdur highly and would like to work with him again if the opportunity arises.
