We are developing new enzyme-mimicking catalysts for activation of small molecules such as CO2, O2, N2 and H2O. The catalysts are based on supramolecular calixarenes funnel-architecture accommodating transition metal centre in their cavity, allowing control over the second coordination sphere and tuning the electrochemical performance. The project is conducted under the guidance of Prof Olivia Reinaud at the department of Bio-inorganic chemistry at University Paris Cite.
