Battery Management System (BMS) Subteam • In line with the team plan for the designing and racing of solar-powered cars, the BMS subteam focuses on the battery control systems and electronics to ensure the vehicle’s battery maintains safe operating conditions. • Writing proper firmware utilizing the STM32 microcontroller and C language to read cell voltages, currents, and the temperature and act upon this data. • Helped with the design of the BMS slave board PCB in Altium.
