  Developed deinterlacing IP to remove low-angled artifacts targeted for high-resolution applications via a novel adaptation of an established image processing algorithm for feature detection and the inclusion of a "smoothing" post-processing technique. The algorithm was implemented on an FPGA using the Altera High-level synthesis tool flow. A paper on the algorithm was submitted to the International Broadcasting Convention ("IBC") and was subsequently showcased at the convention.
