Supervisor

Sep 2016 - Sep 2020
I spent 4 years working at Holland and Barrett, starting as an unqualified associate (at 16) and eventually progressing to a highly qualified supervisor (by the age of 18). I spent a lot of time engaging with customers and developing my knowledge on our products and general health issues. I prioritized enhancing my product and general health knowledge so that I could help customers to the highest of my ability. This led me to completing multiple examinations and gaining multiple qualifications (three of which we're non compulsory but I still studied and achieved them). Aside from developing my knowledge, I did a lot of general retail work (i.e serving customers, problem solving, sorting deliveries, cleaning, covering stores and opening/closing the shop). This helped me develop my customer service and management skills. I ended up taking up a lot of extra responsibility which in return, helped develop me into a more mature employee.

Floor Staff
-
Sep 2015 - Jun 2016
I started working at Creams when I was 15 years old as a member of the floor staff. My job required me to meet and greet customers, take them to their seats and deliver their food (as well as cleaning up after they were done). As this was my first job, I learnt a lot! For example, the importance of taking responsibility, how to provide good customer service and how to think on my feet. Ultimately, my time here allowed me to learn new skills and become a more mature worker. I started working at Creams when I was 15 years old as a member of the floor staff.
