I am a math tutor at Madison East High School for precollege students in the PEOPLE program. As a PEOPLE Math Tutor, I provide students with help in various types of math ranging from Algebra to Calculus AB. I clearly communicate complex ideas in multiple ways to make sure students can understand new topics. Also, I am able to listen, be supportive, and provide motivation to students. I was once the student asking for help from PEOPLE tutors as an East High School alumnus. I was selected to compete in ACT-SO after my story, “The Ugly Cow,” placed first in the Madison Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. writing competition.
