One of the most notable projects that Abdou managed was the Portfolio Rationalisation project, which delivered exceptional results. Abdu was responsible for managing stakeholders across the organization, including senior executives and business unit leaders. He demonstrated excellent communication skills and was able to build positive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring that their needs were taken into account throughout the project. Abdou was managing British American Tobacco subsidiaries in Morocco and some north african countries. He was the leader at the right place where he was leading all the sales and operations BAT teams and distributors, large key account partners and authorities. When he landed into the organization, he's defended a dream to make Rothmans leader in the market while leverage all the ressources toward that dream. Everyone followed, processes were reinvented and enhanced; and the dream came through! Amazing market share, best execution ever in the field allowing the targeted sales volumes and profitability. His energy mixed with his charisma made the teams respecting him and follow his directions with a lot of passion.       Cadilu operations are focused in the catching, processing and exporting of Hake. It owns a large fleet of 8 vessels, and a land based factory. Cadilu number of employees is around 800 in 2007. Design of a new strategic plan in order to optimize operations and maximize profits: • Restructured the factory production flow in order to optimize the output and lead motivational workshops in order to increase efficiency among a 800 people workforce. • Re-organized the fleet logistics in order to increase fishing performances and balance both P&L’s of Fleet and Factory. • Restructured the company Commercial policy with the creation of a new Commercial Department, thus exiting the vertical commercial structure (Subsidiary -> Headquarters), with direct impact on the sales volume and the margin. • Diversification of the production through focusing in value-added product, with direct positive impact on total sales and margins. • In the 2007 exercise, generation of profits after 7 years of successive losses. • In charge of a good relationship between the company and the different Unions that represents Cadilu workers, and also in maintaining a proper relationship with the government, local personalities, media etc. Show less
