      Summary of Duties Performed as the International Committee of the Red Cross's EcoSec (Economic Security) Field Officer: • Independently took the lead on EcoSec field activities for the AoR (area of responsibility) under the Benghazi SD (sub-delegation). • Contributed, mainly independently, to the implementation and running of specific EcoSec projects/ programs including providing the LRCS (Libyan Red Crescent Society) with support to build their relief capacity via training and the establishment of regional relief hubs. • Analyzed the socio-economical, political, and cultural dimensions of the situation within the AoR under the Benghazi SD and their humanitarian consequences. • Assisted the EcoSec coordinator in advocacy, i.e. channeling resources to the most vulnerable war-affected (resident and displaced) populations, via community liaison with relevant national and local stakeholders such as the Libyan Ministry of Social Affairs or bodies in charge of registration of IDPs. • Maintained regular contact with authorities/ stakeholders (locally and nationally) such as local Red Crescent branches, population, suppliers, etc. • Presented the RCRC (Red Cross/ Red Crescent) movement principles where dissemination opportunities arose, and the International Committee's mandate and activities to interlocutors and beneficiaries.
