  Responsible in overseeing the operations of the Finance Department of Noor Al Sahara General Contracting LLC (NAS) including designing the organizational structure of the company to achieve corporate business objectives. For the past 10 years, I have been responsible in supporting NAS top management by providing financial advice and guidance to arrive on sound business decisions and achieve the organization’s business goals. Among my responsibilities include: • Collate, prepare and interprete reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements • Undertake strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning • Producing long-term business plans • Forecast cash flow positions and ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements • Maintain banking relationships • Assist in determining the company's proper capital structure • Manage the preparation of the company's budget • Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities • Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances • Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction • Engage in ongoing cost optimization analyses in all areas of the company • Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement • Develop trends and projections for the organization’s finances • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and company’s actual performance compared to the business plans. • Compile key business metrics and report on them to management • Manage the capital budgeting process, based on constraint analysis and discounted cash flow analysis • Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management • Oversee the extension of credit to customers Show less
