I had the privilege of working with Abby for approximately 6 months. We originally took her on as an hourly contractor to do some sales data administration; however, after a few days we realized her skill set was far beyond the basic tasks for which she was originally hired. Indigo Identityware’s Quality Assurance and Documentation team was searching for an individual to take ownership of software test planning while at the same time updating and creating our formal product release notes and other end-user documents. Abby demonstrated the ability to stick to the granular details of our protocol for our testing procedures while at the same time keeping the big picture in mind and remembering the ultimate purpose of the procedures at hand. That ability to think outside the box yet keep her eye on the ball is truly a gift. Her documents were always clearly written with the intended readers in mind to provide just the right amount of information and on the proper technical level of the intended reader. Indigo is a very fast paced work environment. Abby was able to handle an ever growing workload while maintaining her level of excellence with each of her assignments and successfully demonstrate the skills Indigo deemed necessary for the position, which included: * Excellent problem solving and interpersonal communication skills * Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect * Individual desire for achieving excellence in process and quality * Ability to analyze problems in situations where the symptoms - are not of a standard or familiar nature, therefore requiring - independent thought and logical troubleshooting methods * Extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation - and communication * Strong verbal and written communication skills * The ability to manage changing priorities within a highly dynamic- fast paced environment

Abby was always easy to work with, with a "can do" positive attitude. She added substantial value to the QA process and Documentation materials, with very little to start with, and involving a fairly complex product. Along with having a positive attitude, Abby was also a quick study of new work assignments and product technologies.
