Featuring a large ensemble of performers with experience of homelessness from Cardboard Citizens' Street2Stage workshops, We Are All Misfits investigates how we value kindness in a cruel age of measuring and assessing.Cardboard Citizens is an award-winning theatre company that changes the lives of homeless and at-risk people through theatre and the performing arts.   'Blackbirds' - an intergenerational production from London Bubble, uses personal testimony, physical theatre, the combined skills of a large cast of contemporary Londoners, a few sugar lumps and 87 pieces of furniture, to evoke the stories and spirit of the Blitz. Blackbirds was performed to over 1,500 people across 4 venues in 2011 and 2012. Mitchell’s plays include Another Country (a West End hit, Best Play in 1981, later made into a film), Falling Over England and After Aida. He was also a regular writer for the much loved Inspector Morse series and has written the screenplays for numerous films including Wilde and Vincent & Theo. Based on interviews with the people who lived the history, The Front Room looks at how stories of generations can be erased and rewritten. Noticing the lack of social interaction between younger and older LGB people, Outbox created The Front Room to tell the story of these older people, many of whom were activists and pioneers.
