Jul 2015 - Jul 2016
Acted as nanny and personal assistant to a family with 3 school-aged children in a fully staffed, Kosher home. This position involved working with a stay-at-home mother, who I was responsible for keeping updated and involved with everything to do with the children. While children were in school I performed assistant duties such as shopping, event planning, coordinating schedules. I managed all of the children’s activities, wardrobes, and anything pertaining to them, and maintained all communications with doctors, schools, and other professionals. When the children were out of school I took them to and from activities, helped them with schoolwork, prepared meals, and oversaw bedtime routines. This family is Orthodox Jewish, and I became familiar with the traditions and rules, and helped to keep a Kosher household. I worked with multiple other staff and pitched in where I saw a need. I traveled with the family when needed. Show less

Provided full time, sole-charge care for 10-year-old twin girls for a high-profile family based out of FL and Moscow. In this position I worked a rotating shift of 1 month at a time of 24/7 care. This position was in a fully staffed, formal home and involved extensive travel, both domestically and internationally. I traveled alone with the children internationally, air travel as well as by yacht. I was responsible for teaching the children when we were living and traveling outside of the United States. This position involved living in different countries for months at a time. On a daily basis I was in charge of arranging all schedules and managing the children’s day-to-day affairs. I worked closely with numerous staff to keep the household running smoothly. I was the contact person for teachers, doctors, and everyone related to the well being of the children. I maintained their wardrobes and did the shopping for everything related to the children. The girls were going through their adolescent years, and I was a positive role model and confidant to help them navigate the challenges of that time. Show less

2004 - 2010
During my time working at summer camp I held many different job titles and had a vast variety of responsibilities. In every position I was responsible for the care and well being of approximately 10 girls, for periods of one week at a time. Campers ranged in age from 5-18. I was tasked with creating a safe and happy camp environment. During this time I provided an outlet for campers to come for advice, helped children through their first time away from home, and led them through activity rotations, mealtimes, and hygiene routines. Some of the various positions I held included Girl’s Counselor, Equestrian Director, Girl’s director, and Lifeguard/Boat Driver. As the Equestrian Director I managed all equestrian staff, oversaw the care of a stable of horses, wrote lesson plans and taught riding lessons to campers, and implemented safety procedures and emergency plans. As the Girl’s Director I managed all female campers and staff, dealt with discipline issues that arose, worked with an administration group to create policies, organized and ran nightly activities for all campers, and created an instructional binder for use by future Directors. As a Lifeguard/Boat driver I taught wakeboarding and waterskiing to campers, drove the ski boat, maintained the safety of campers around the waterfront, and practiced and taught safety plans.
