Bio
Jordan Lyons, MPA
Abby worked as the Program Manager for the Neighborhood Ambassadors, student workers who build positive "town and gown" relationships with the University's neighbors. I was new to my position and Abby was the only returning member of last year's Neighborhood Ambassadors. She did a great job providing institutional memory and demonstrated leadership in recruiting and training 10 student workers. Abby can relate to many types of people, resolving conflicts between students and homeowners, including older adults. She managed a team that included freshmen through older, non-traditional students, coming from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Abby took the work of the ASUM Renter Center and Neighborhood Ambassadors seriously. She set realistic goals and committed to seeing them through. Also, Abby's work in journalism and English have helped her develop considerable skills in writing, editing, and presenting to groups.
