My role as a marketing assistant/apprenticeship advisor involves promoting apprenticeships via advertisements on media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and The National Website. I work with over fifteen employers at one time to source, interview and recruit suitable apprentices for their organisation. Once an application is made for an apprenticeship my role is then to meet with the candidates to support them in their journey to secure a vacancy. Working directly with employers involves staying professional, confidential and supportive at all times. Creating a positive rapport with businesses is extremely important to successfully fill apprenticeship vacancies with suitable candidates. I work to improve our social network accounts and websites each day by updating information and adding new material when needed whilst working with the Business Development Manager. I thoroughly enjoy attending events such as career fairs and Sixth Form Evenings where I interact with the public to promote Achievement Training. I have a passion for recruitment and marketing and I feel the skills I have obtained from this role will develop if given the chance to expand my career growth.
