The mission of Mount Saint Mary's University Libraries is to inspire inquiry, foster intellectual and personal growth, and promote the effective use of information. As an academic library serving a diverse community, we are dedicated to providing access to information resources that reflect many voices and perspectives. In my position as Assistant Director of Access Services and Spaces I provide leadership in the MSMU Libraries for services that connect users to library materials and spaces, including circulation services, interlibrary loan, course reserves, and events. As a member of the Library Administrative Team, I get to help shape the strategic direction of the MSMU Libraries and to advance social justice by developing innovative academic library services. I oversee both campus Libraries' Access and Circulation units, ensuring consistent and exemplary service is provided. It is my responsibility to develop policies and services that align with the values of the MSMU Libraries and support the mission of the University. I supervise (directly or through subordinates) five employees and approximately fifty student workers at the Charles Willard Coe Library and the J. Thomas McCarthy Library. Show less
