A large part of my role as the Marketing Specialist for Crane is to manage and create content for the company's various social media profiles, with a focus on consistency across platforms. While posting on behalf of the brand, I also analyzed the insights of each platform weekly to determine successful digital marketing strategies for their target audience. During my time, I had implemented a consistent strategy to drive traffic and gain views organically. This increased their overall Facebook reach by 1,500% and profile visits by 48.5%. Through the creation of their Instagram account, I steadily increased the reach, CTR, and profile visits by at least 2.5% each month. In order to stay on a consistent posting schedule, and to plan upcoming content, I utilized the platform Trello. This helped me ensure posts were frequent, but not too repetitive. This went along with Facebook Business Suite, a platform I used not only for the analytics mentioned above, but to schedule posts for platforms like Facebook and Instagram ahead of time. Also worked with an outside company to redesign a website that encompassed the company's values, mission, and services. As our primary consumers were dental offices, I specialized in b2b marketing with a focus on customer retention. To strengthen the brand loyalty and trust between each business, I created a network of consistent communication through e-newsletters, surveys, monthly "statement stuffers", direct mail, etc. Employee engagement was also a large part of my role here. To get a base of overall employee satisfaction, I created and lead employee surveys and spearheaded a movement to consider the most common wants and needs to help curate a better experience at Crane. The surveys will run every 6 months. This position has helped me plant and grow my digital analytics skill, adapt my Adobe Creative Cloud skills from Mac to PC, print marketing materials to exact specifications, and utilize both my marketing and design knowledge.

Marketing/Web Dev/UX Intern
-
Aug 2020 - Nov 2020
During the fall semester of my senior year at Nazareth, I had an internship with the NHRA as their Marketing, Web Design, and UI/UX Intern. In this role my primary responsibility was to redesign their webpage to adapt to modern design trends and styles. These changes were done with Wordpress. Before making any changes, I had to perform a web audit and manually analyzed every page to enhance overall user experience and improve Search-Engine Optimization (SEO). I also had to present to the NHRA board to visually and orally communicate upcoming changes to the website. During the redesign process, I collaborated closely with the organization president and other board members to ensure all designs and changes made consistently represented the values and integrity of the NHRA. Through this position I strengthened my oral and written communication skills through presentation, familiarized myself further with the Wordpress program, exercised my knowledge of SEO, and practiced working within the given brand guidelines.

Member Services Representative

May 2019 - Aug 2020
During the summer of 2019, I was hired to work as a member services representative at Metro Fitness. This is a privately owned company that only has two locations in Syracuse, NY and Fayetteville, NY (referred to as Metro Fitness East). My primary role while working at Metro Fitness is to serve as the front desk attendant. While working at the front desk, my daily tasks include the following: answering the phone and noting any questions or concerns consumers may have for the manager or the personal trainers, signing prospective members up for memberships, giving tours of the facility, and washing the towels we provide for members. Skills that I have developed through working the front desk include oral and written communication skills and getting CPR certified. Below I have included two images from the Metro Fitness East location that I work at.

Oct 2018 - May 2020
While attending Nazareth College, I have maintained a federal work study position at the Admissions House here on campus throughout my sophomore and junior years. Typically, I am an assistant to the full-time desk attendant and offer my help on prepping for various admissions events, such as open houses or daily tours. This usually involves folding t-shirts and prepping folders to hand out. At times, I fill-in for the desk attendant. The main purpose of this role is to answer phone calls from prospective students or parents and direct them to the department best suited for their question or problem. For special Admissions events, such as larger open houses or student acceptance days, I am in charge of leading the prospective students to and from their major presentations. Since I am a Visual Communication and Design major within the Art Department, I am typically responsible for guiding the prospective art students. Along with this role, I am also there to answer any questions or provide insight into the actual life of a Nazareth College art and design student. This job has allowed me to expand my communication skills overall and maintain a respective and honorable image for Nazareth College overall. I have also uploaded some images that depict the Admissions House where I work, and the Arts Center where larger admissions events are held.

Apr 2017 - Mar 2019
During my freshman and sophomore years of college, I worked at the women's clothing store "Charlotte Russe". This is a position I would primarily work during summer or holiday breaks off of college. As a sales associate, my daily tasks included: communicating actively with customers to ensure they were being helped accordingly. Also communicating efficiently with co-workers to prevent theft and displeased customers. Completing assigned tasks with care, yet in a timely matter; such as unpacking shipment, changing promotional signs, dressing/undressing mannequins, reorganizing merchandise (jewelry, clothing, shoes), ringing out customers, and cleaning dressing rooms. This part-time job really helped me develop my oral communication skills with consumers and fellow employees. Also, I was able to develop an even better work ethic during the holiday seasons when the store was busy. In order to keep the store running efficiently, I had to work hard constantly and consistently. The holiday season in retail also taught me how to better handle working under pressure. I have included a picture below of the storefront of the Charlotte Russe I had worked at in Destiny USA.
